PMS has really thrown a wrench in my plans. First of all, I want to eat everything (especially carbs). At least, the other half made it into the trash. I also ate a large Fugi apple rather than a medium one to try to ward off anymore falling. And who knows what affect the introduction of pain relievers has on the diet success. So, this morning, I have only lost 1 pound. But that is OK. I'm now at a total of 12 pounds. The reduced weight loss today may be due to my fudging a little yesterday, or it may just be due to PMS in general. According to HCG protocol, women should not take the HCG during menustration even while continuing the 500 cal/day diet. My pharmacist disagrees based on their experience and has advised me to continue to HCG. But I also need to be careful not to expect 2-3 pounds loss everyday for these 30 days. I don't want to set myself up for disappointment and loss of motivation.
